First things first….what the hell? Is this movie for kids or adults, cause I dont think seeing a guy get his nose beat into his skull with a beer bottle “Kid Friendly”. Plus you have to read the whole damn movie – French/Spanish with english subtitles? honestly I was too busy trying to keep up to really listen to the actual words they were speaking.
Pan’s Labyrinth has been credited with wonderful special effects and a great story, true it does have animation that can be compared to Lord of the Rings and movies along those lines, however the lack of animated scenes is what dissapointed me. Pan’s “Labyrinth” does not even compare to the Labyrinth we all grew up with (come on ladies admit it you had a crush on David Bowie) and the latter was made in the late eighties.
A typical fairy tale plot with a dissallusioned little girl living in tough times and resorts to a imaginatory world to cope with things. Pan’s Labyrinth’s plot could have been developed into much more and in turn fullfilling the viewer’s visual senses with more substance put into the “world of imagination”.
To top it off, I am pretty sure that Pan’s “Labyrinth” was the same one Hogwarts used for the latest Triwizard Challenge.
Anyways, I give Pan’s Labyrinth a big fat GOOSE EGG, thats right no Moosie’s for Pan.
Sorry.

Well, now I want to see it cause it was so bad – it’s like telling someone to taste something because it is horrible – you know they just gotta taste it!
