Merry Christmas

Hello All,

Well, the big day has passed and I hope all of you out there have had an awesome time with friends and family. Christmas in Whitehorse was pretty quiet, with no kids running around the houses the Christmas energy isn’t quite there. Funny how the little tykes can make a holiday that much better even though they are wired with excitement half the time.

My four days on just happened to land on Christmas eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and the 27th, so I was trying my best to portray the ghost of Christmas yet to come around the house rather than falling into a role of Scrooge that would impress Dickens himself .

Mom, Dad, Kirk, Shauna, Tammy and I were able to all get together for a Christmas Breakfast… one that only Shauna can make. It was a short visit but definatley made both mine and Tammy’s day . We returned back to the house and opened our gifts then I was off to bed, Tammy joined me cause she will take any excuse she can to sleep lately ;)

From the looks of it, our New years will make up in the excitement department, as my five days off begin and everyone else has New Years eve off as well.

Just a little recap on what has been going on in the Great White North.

Hopefully all the families can get together for the 2008 holiday, it looks to be an exciting one.

  1. You two are always in our hearts….hope 2008 is your best year yet. Happy New Year….

  2. Hmm, 4 days on? Does that make you RCMP? Paramedic? Some other type of unsung hero? Your blog is pretty scanty on personal details – which may well be deliberate!

Best wishes to all of you for 2008.

  3. New Years rocked the cas-ba! It was so much fun – Shauna once again out did herself. I got to enjoy a chocolate fondue – the first of my life. Now, I can die a happy woman! What more do I need – marshmallows and a pot of warm chocolate – heaven!!
